The LED is compact, robust and durable, great for off-roading conditions.  Over and under-voltage protection up to 18 volts automatically breaks the circuit when power exceeds the predetermined current for a specified amount of time.  The Cube MX85-WD lights have an integrated driver and thermal management system to eliminate the risk of overheating during use, another great feature.
